20000mAh Solar-Powered Power Bank groupon review

20000mAh Solar-Powered Power Bank groupon review

The Groupon site would not let me review the product, so I had to create my own page to do so. It's actually unusual they have not allowed any reviews for it?!?

So, first of all the product arrives with no packaging, no instructions, no warranty card, no invoice and a very tiny usb to mini usb cord.
10 cm long cord. What is with that? It's almost useless.

Well, it's still a good deal. I think about $10 cheaper than elsewhere, so still worth it I guess.

The solar panel:
Well, with no instructions I decided to hold it up towards the sun and the green LED came on, so I am guessing it is working?

All four LEDs come on when I plug it in to recharge, although with the last one flashing.
At this stage I am going to guess this means almost fully charged.

So, should you buy it?
It's a gamble. Groupon is usually ok. Sure, why not. It's not too expensive.
Still, after I contacted their customer support via "chat" they were totally unsure about the product and its packaging, saying instead that maybe the packing was damaged in transit and that's why it is not present with the product.
Yeah, ok, ummm, huh?
I have a feeling it was an Indian in India answering the questions I put to him/her. I think his/her name was Veredesh, so fair chance.

I asked about the warranty, and they said it is 6 months. The invoice is digital. But the packaging and instructions are not to be seen. Likely the instructions can be found online.

Enjoy!
